23 November 2009Hey all. Just a quick note about criticsite.com and it’s absence for the past year.
Believe it or not, I let the registration expire. I know, I know. Dumb. Especially with all the easy ways to stay on top of that kind of thing these days. Not entirely my fault though.
I had it with an Australian registrar Melbourne IT who quite frankly did a crappy job of helping me out. The only reason I used them was because it was who Verio used. They were cheap enough, but they had a horrible web interface for managing domains. After the domain expired I frantically tried to get it back. I couldn’t get anyone on the phone (Australlia) and I ended up using their “Premium” service to attempt and secure the domain.
Apparently their premium service consists of them registering the domain for their own use and not responding to you no matter how many emails you send them. End of the day, use somebody here http://hosting.dugancom.com and not them for your domain registration needs.
Anyway, back online and raring to review.
